About
HOW I WORK:
I am an integrative counsellor, which is a combined approach to therapy, bringing together different elements of specific therapies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), transactional analysis (TA), and person-centred/ humanistic therapy. I am therefore able to meet the individual needs of the people I work with - who all have their own unique stories.
Being heard by somebody who is empathetic and non-judgemental will enable you to tell your story and explore the issues connected. Counselling offers you a safe and relaxed environment needed for change and growth, helping you to work towards reaching your full potential. Get in touch and I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
HOW IT'LL HELP:
I have a degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and have been practising as a counsellor since 2015. I spent four years at the Olive Tree Centre working with women who were struggling with a whole range of issues including grief and loss, abuse, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship problems.

I have also worked with women who had participated in the freedom Programme: an initiative aimed at helping victims of domestic abuse.

My Story
I have also worked with children and young people for many years, having spent four years as a counsellor at various senior schools with children and young people aged between 11 and 18 years. Working with young people and helping them to explore individual issues such as bereavement, cultural and family dynamics, school pressures, social media, anger issues and low self-esteem can make a world of difference to their emotional well-being.
